ShawnMikael — a two-man long-form improvisational show combining the talents of two of the DC improv scene’s veteran improvisers: Mikael Johnson, a mainstay at Washington Improv Theater’s long form troupe Jackie, and Shawn Westfall, for 12 years the exclusive teacher of improv at the DC Improv, founding cast-member of iMusical, The Improvised Musical; and most recently the co-founder and Artistic Director of The Unified Scene Theater in Washington, DC. They’ve played on comedy-festival stages across the country, including Philadelphia, Kansas City, Charleston, Baltimore, Richmond, and here in DC, including The Capital Fringe Fest in 2012, where they were named “Best Of The Fringe.” ShawnMikael: Two improvisers.
