Under-painted with ink and built up in layers of overlapping color and shape, the series of oval “vigil” paintings together represent the expression of the candlelight of a group vigil. Each flickering light painting is intended to acknowledge the emotional healing process through the act of holding vigil. You can project your own intention onto the symbolic votive light.
