Pour-over or percolation brews is the way most of us have enjoyed coffee. We go back to basics and try to find out why this method gives us that tasty “cup of joe” that pairs well in a breakfast, brunch or diner meal and how to elevate the ritual and the taste experience using manual brewing techniques and specialty coffee. We will explore the April and Origami drippers and the more obscure cloth “Nel” dripper, using different coffees. Different coffee process, source and roast level will be tasted and compared.
