The coffee experience can be enjoyed at the coffee shop, but some also want to try to brew espresso using specialty coffee, lighter roasts, or experimental processed coffee from the comfort of their home! To make espresso at home is intimidating and requires a special machine and grinder….or is it? This workshop will give you some alternatives to start doing manually brewed shots to drink black, americano, or cortado/latte espresso coffee at home. We will use a Flair lever machine, Aeropress, moka pot, Bellman steaming wand, and French press as well as a hand grinder and entry-level electric grinder and delve into some of the theory behind brewing espresso and pouring textured milk to create a design.
